Tipi Box
Tipi Box

This box is in the private collection of the Buffalo Bill Historical Center. The box is four sided in the center with images of Native Americans that were in the Buffalo Bill Cody show.

"One of the most elegant accessory items in the exhibition is the "Indian Box" (1996) by Judy Nansel and Julie Powell, Bozeman, Montana. These designers have demonstrated great skill and imagination fashioning a twig mosaic, carried a step further with a delicate pattern hand-carved into each piece. This work resonates with a rich Oriental look that leaps across time and culture with imagination and style. "
